1970 Jun-1971 Jan: Transitioned to CH-46 Helicopter training at New River Air Station, NC; promoted to 1st Lt.
1971 Jan-1972 Feb: Served overseas(Okinawa, Philippines, Japan) flying CH-46 Helicopter
1972 Feb-1973 Feb: Air Liaison Officer- USMC Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC; Promoted to Captain
1973 Feb-1973 Nov: Transitioned to UH-1 Huey Helicopter, Glenview Naval Air Station, Glenview, IL
1973 Nov: Honorably Discharged-Captain in the US Marine Corps
