Santa's Arrival & Holiday Tree Trimming
Thursday, November 20 from 4:00-5:00 PM or 5:00-6:00 PM
Join us in celebrating the holiday season by participating in our annual Tree Trimming and welcoming Santa to town! Community businesses, organizations, and neighborhoods are invited to sponsor a tree, which will be on display along Lake Street in Memorial Parkway through the New Year. A tree with lights will be provided and sponsors will bring and hang their own decorations.
Register your group for one of the two time slots available. Individually wrapped cookies and hot chocolate will be provided along with Santa's mailbox and festive music.
Bring: Decorations and something to hang them with (hooks/string) and a step stool.
Deck the Depot
Saturday, December 6 from 9:00 am-2:00 pm | Trolley times vary | Fee: $20 per person (ages 1 & up)
Celebrate the season with a holiday trolley ride around town, complete with a scavenger hunt, the reading of the Polar Express story, and holiday songs. At The Depot, enjoy a hot chocolate bar, craft, balloon artist, and a picture with Santa.
This is a River Forest Resident Only Event. 16 tickets remain, so get into The Depot soon before they sell out! Limit 6 tickets per household.
