Memberships to the platform tennis courts will be available for purchase at The Depot, 401 Thatcher Avenue, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Individual Membership rates are $125/resident and $150/non-residents. Junior Memberships rates (ages 7-20) are $65/resident and $78/non-residents. Junior memberships do not include a FOB key. No family memberships will be available. Memberships includes use access to the Platform Tennis Courts and Paddle Hut, the opportunity to schedule court time via the online reservation system, the opportunity to register for platform tennis league play, and platform tennis event and social opportunities.

On-line Court Reservations To use this system, you must be a River Forest Platform Tennis member, know your member ID number, and have the names of the other 3 players. If one of the players is a non-member, a $5.00 per play fee is required to the Park District in advance. Payment can be made at The Depot or by calling 708-366-6660 Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Each member is allowed to bring up to four (4) non-members per year.

Rules of the Platform Tennis Court Reservation System
- Online reservations are scheduled in 1-1/2 hour time slots.
- Each member is allowed one (1) prime reservation per week. Prime time hours are:
- Monday – Thursday: 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Each Member is allowed to make non-prime time reservations for other times not listed above.
- Members are limited to 1-1/2 hour time slot, and may not piggyback slots.
- Please print a copy of your online reservation as a confirmation of your reserved court time in case of any conflicts.
League Play
An in-house Fall and Spring Men’s and Women’s Platform Tennis League will be available to the first 30 men and 24 women platform tennis members who register. Registration will be available online or at The Depot beginning December 17 for residents and December 31 for non-residents. The individual league fee is $25.00/member. Please note that you must be a River Forest Platform Member to register for the Platform Tennis League.

Lessons
The Park District will be offering group paddle tennis lessons throughout the year. A paddle tennis membership is not required to register for lessons. Registration will be available online or at The Depot. Please note that use of the platform tennis courts by non-members is limited to the registered lesson day and time.

Open Play
A membership will be required for access to the platform tennis courts. In an effort to allow our residents the opportunity to experience platform tennis before purchasing a membership, the platform tennis courts will be open to the general public during a limited time during the Fall session:
Monday-Friday: 11:30 am to 1:00pm (days and times subject to change)
Platform tennis racquets are available for rental for $1/day, and a sleeve of balls is available for purchase at The Depot, 401 Thatcher Avenue, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
