Thrill Zone Camp Director (June – Mid August)

Responsible for the supervision of the campsite, campers, planning of appropriate activities, transporting campers to field trips in the Park District van, and overall safety of staff and campers.

Qualifications: Minimum 21 years of age (by law, to transport kids in the van). Must have strong leadership and communications skills, along with programming and childcare experience.

Hours: Monday – Friday (part-time)

Starting Salary: $14.00/hr


Dance Instructor
The River Forest Park District’s Dance Program is seeking a motivated and experienced Dance
Instructor to teach 3 – 5 and 6 – 9 year-old dancers starting this September. The Park District’s Fall Dance Program is a 10-week session, concluding with a Holiday Show.

Birthday Party Leader (annual position)
Responsible for supervising the birthday party, as well as set up for the party and clean up after the party.


Qualifications:  Minimum 18 years of age. Experience in childcare or supervision preferred.


Hours:  Part time position working 2 hours for a birthday party, plus a half hour before and after for set up and clean up.


Starting Salary:  $50.00/party
