The River Forest Park District, River Forest Community Center, and the River Forest Police Department are proud to present the 9th Annual Clear Sky Festival at Keystone Park, on Saturday, September 13th from 2:00-8:00 pm. "This community-wide event allows the area youths the opportunity to connect with River Forest law enforcement officers and park and recreation officials", stated Karen Scherrer, Recreation Supervisor with the River Forest Park District. "There is something for every child's age level, and we hope our River Forest families will come out and enjoy this event."

Registration is now open for the 2008 Community Bank Makin' Tracks 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 27th at 8:00 am.
Three ways to register:
1. Drop off the form and check at The Depot, 401 Thatcher Avenue, River Forest,
Illinois 60305. Please make check payable to the River Forest Park District.
2. Mail the form and check to: River Forest Park District, 401 Thatcher Avenue, River Forest, Illinois 60305. Please make the check payable to the River Forest Park District. Mailed registration forms must be postmarked by September 20, 2008.
3. Register online at www.rfparks.com (6.5% plus $.50 service fee) or at www.signmeup.com/61511 (6.5% plus $1.00 service fee). Online registration is available until September 24, 2008, at 12:00 pm (CST).

The Fall brochures will be mailed to Village of River Forest households on August 1st. Resident registration for River Forest Park District Fall programs begins on August 11th, and non-resident registration begins on August 25th.
